As the opening of the Heritance Aarah just took place in mid-2019, guests can look forward to a fantastic new Maldives resort, whose facilities and services set new standards in the luxury field. The island hideaway is the latest addition to the Aitken Spence Hotels and combines the highest level of comfort and first-class service with local design and traditional hospitality. The comprehensive and unique "Premium All Inclusive" program ensures carefree hours in a relaxed and luxurious atmosphere. Nestled in one of the largest lagoons in the Maldives, on an island in the Raa Atoll, only 153 km by seaplane from Malé International Airport, the resort houses a total of 150 villas & suites, six restaurants, five bars, a PADI dive center, a stunning overwater infinity pool and the Maldives' first medical spa. Heritance Aarah also offers its guests a range of unique excursions and sets new standards in sustainability in the Maldives. In September 2019, Heritance Aarah became the first ever property in the Maldives to be awarded the internationally recognised Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Gold certification, which complies with the US Green Building Council rating system and is awarded to properties that save energy, water and resources, generate less waste and support human health. The design of the resort compliments the policy of sustainability by implementing components such as fuel saving generators, energy saving LED lighting, water saving fixtures and energy efficient air conditioning. The resort also aims to offer guests an authentic holiday by incorporating the local traditions and cultures of the Maldives into its surroundings, creating a truly unique experience.
Location
The Heritance Aarah is located in the southern Raa-Atoll of the Maldives and amazes with its tropical vegetation, fine sandy beach and turquoise water. The island is the epitome of a holiday in the Maldives. The arrival is by seaplane or domestic flight from Velana International Airport in Malé and takes around 40 minutes.
Rooms & Suites
The villas and suites in the Heritance Aarah are designed in different shapes and sizes, from the Beach Villa to the Ocean Suite, no wish is left unfulfilled. The resort captivates with its authentic and open atmosphere, which presents the beauty of the Maldives in the best way right into the interior areas. The design concept of the rooms radiates natural, Maldivian character, so that guests immediately feel comfortable and at the same time enjoy complete privacy and relaxation. The total of 124 villas and 26 suites of Heritance Aarah blend in smoothly with the tropical vegetation of the island or are built directly on stilts above the lagoon. Each villa has a private butler who looks after the well-being of the guests.
Beach Villa – approx. 88 m², the total of 51 Beach Villas are among the largest that exist in the Maldives and convince with a beautiful terrace, which offer a direct beach location and a large bathroom with outdoor shower. Family Beach Villa – approx. 185 m², these five largest family beach villas on the Maldives consist of two connected beach villas with separate outdoor access and are the ideal option for a relaxed family holiday.
Pool Beach Villa – The Pool Beach Villa is approx. 92 m² in size and there are 10 of them. Each is equipped like the Beach Villa, but in addition a private pool on the terrace invites to relax.
Family Pool Beach Villa – approx. 185 m², the two-Family Pool Beach Villas are identical in equipment and amenities to the Pool Beach Villa, solely differ in size.

Ranba – The hotel's buffet and main restaurant presents the world on a plate and offers an array of international delights with simple, honest and down-to-earth cooking, and comfort food from the east to the west. A reflection of ‘real food’ – from the Eastern hawker stalls to the Western farmers’ market, this is a buffet that will transport guests across continents.
Ralu - Inspired by the French and Italian Mediterranean brasseries lining the Riviera coast, at Ralu, guests can enjoy a hearty meal from the mini buffet while watching the chefs whipping up popular classics. The restaurant is open all day.

The IASO Medical Spa of the Heritance Aarah is built on stilts above the lagoon and offers a breathtaking view as well as peace and relaxation in a calming atmosphere. It is also the first Medical Spa in the Maldives. In a total of six treatment rooms, classic treatments and massages are offered. Yet the guests can also enjoy medical treatments that are currently unique in the Maldives. With the help of the latest technology and procedures,physical difficulties are localized and appropriate treatments are offered. Further equipment includes a sauna and a steam bath.
